Dr Charles Pilgrim is an General Surgeon with an interest in the Upper-GI, offering surgery for gallstones, hernia and weight loss surgery as well as treatment for cancer and other disorders of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder and bile ducts (HPB surgery).
He performs key-hole surgery (robotic and laparoscopic surgery) for many upper gastrointestinal disorders, including weight loss surgery as well as open and robotic hernia surgery.

Scope of Practice:
Charles offers the full range of the most up-to-date and evidence based surgical procedures for surgery of the liver, biliary tract, pancreas and stomach as well as general and upper gastrointestinal laparoscopic and robotic procedures. He is also accredited by GESA to perform gastroscopy.
Charles has also published extensively in many high impact factor peer-reviewed journals on many upper gastrointestinal topics and also on trauma surgery.
He performs surgery for:
