Childbirth Education
Childbirth Education & Breastfeeding classes:
The Peninsula Private Hospital Childbirth Education and Breastfeeding class is a 3-hour class covering key topics to help you prepare for this important life moment including childbirth and breastfeeding. Delivered online via Microsoft Teams, the class is coordinated by an experienced Peninsula Private Hospital midwife childbirth educator. There will be plenty of time to ask questions.
The class is available to you in your 3rd trimester. If you are booked in to have your baby with us, you will receive an email invitation with link attached for online classes around 6-8 weeks prior to your due date.
Antenatal Learning Centre
As a Ramsay Maternity patient, you are provided with additional resources to help you prepare for the birth and care for baby, including information on breastfeeding and parenting. We recommend you read these resources prior to the ‘face to face’ online classes.
