Our spacious and comfortable rooms are purpose designed to facilitate recovery after total hip and knee surgery, and are fitted with integrated décor including flat screen TVs with access to Foxtel TV channels and Wifi.

The hospital features 8 operating theatres equipped with the latest technology to assist surgeons perform state of the art orthopaedic procedures.

A diagnostic imaging service is located onsite, encompassing a range of modalities, from plain x-rays to CT & MRI scanning.

Most patients and their families prefer to access healthcare services, close to home. That is why all of our orthopaedic surgeons are accredited to operate regularly at Peninsula Private Hospital, and also offer the convenience of onsite or local consulting, with direct onsite access to radiology and pathology.

To access our orthopaedic service, make an appointment to see you GP to discuss your symptoms. They will determine if a specialist referral is required, and can organise a referral to one of our accredited orthopaedic surgeons. Once you have your referral, please contact the orthopaedic surgeon you have been referred, to make an appointment.

Our orthopaedic surgeons and nursing staff work closely with our onsite accredited physiotherapists and allied health professionals who provide physiotherapy care. For patients going home directly, outpatient physiotherapy and/or occupational therapy referrals are arranged.

The discharge destination for patients is determined through consultation with their surgeon.

Parking is available onsite in our visitor car park, accessed via the McClelland Road entrance to the hospital (Melway Ref Map 103 D6). Peninsula Private Hospital is well serviced by public transport. The From the Frankston Transport Hub (station), bus route 790 (Cranbourne West) services the bus stops located right in front of the hospital on the corner of McClelland Dr/Cranbourne Rd.
