Mr Justin Hunt, is an experienced Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a focus on spine surgery. He has expanded his private practice to now offer regular onsite consulting and operating at Peninsula Private Hospital.
Justin has a broad orthopaedic surgical interest, utilising the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques for the management of all hip, knee, shoulder and spinal conditions to facilitate the best recovery and outcome for patients from surgery.

After completing his orthopaedic training in Australian, Justin gained extensive international experience working in North America and Europe, completing post fellowship training in New York and New Hampshire, USA. His professional associations include:

Many patients present with multiple joint arthritis or dual pathologies, often resulting in a combination of problem areas such as hip and knee pain; hip and lower back pain; neck and shoulder pain, Justin's understanding and expertise across multiple surgery areas assists him to assess and treat his patients holistically.
- Hip – AMIS (Anterior Minimally Invasive Surgery), minimally invasive hip replacement surgery, total hip joint replacement, revision Surgery – hip replacement (including for patients with a previous DePuy - Johnson & Johnson ASR Hip System Implant now subject to a recall)
- Knee - Arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, partial and total knee replacement including patient specific instrumentation
- Shoulder - Arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair and shoulder reconstruction, shoulder replacement

Justin regularly performs anterior minimally invasive hip replacements and he has become a strong advocate of this newer approach, recognizing the advantages of this technique in patient recovery.
