Dr Edwina Moore is an experienced, compassionate and highly skillful General Surgeon with an interest in breast and endocrine surgery, who provides world-class surgical care for her patients on the Peninsula.

Edwina graduated from the University of Tasmania with First Class Honours and two academic prizes in 2006. She completed her training in General Surgery in Melbourne and was awarded her fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2015. Edwina subsequently completed three years post-fellowship training in breast and endocrine surgery, in Australia and overseas.

Between 2017-2019, Edwina was employed by the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, Ohio (USA), where she completed training in all aspects of Endocrine Surgery (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal and pancreas), including point of care ultrasound and fine needle aspiration.

Edwina has authored two chapters and multiple peer reviewed journal articles in the fields of General and Endocrine Surgery. She was awarded the top prize for research by the Diabetes and Metabolism Institute at the Cleveland Clinic.

Edwina is a member of numerous international and endocrine societies including; ANZES, AAES, IAES and AsAES. She is meticulous in all aspects of her work and personal life. In addition to being a surgeon, she is a mother of three children and wife of Vladimir Bolshinsky, who is also a general surgeon and works with her in their practice, 'Surgical Health Specialists'.

Thyroid surgery: for thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, functional thyroid disease (eg.Graves') and multinodular goiters
