Dr Babak Tamjid graduated from medical school with an MD degree in 2006. He completed his basic physician training at Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2011 followed by advanced training in General Medicine and Medical Oncology at three major hospitals including Alfred, Austin and Box Hill Hospitals. He has also worked as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Austin hospital when he started in a large number of phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials. He received Fellowship of the Royal Australasian
College of Physicians in Medical Oncology in 2015. Dr Tamjid has a keen interest in research. He has published in a number of peer review journals. He continues to actively participate and present in multiple national and international
conferences. Dr Tamjid is a General Physician and Oncologist with special interests in gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers. He follows new advances in Oncology very closely and he has great experience and interest in use of immunotherapy for treating various cancers.
