Nalaka is a well established and widely respected Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon
based on the Mornington Peninsula.
Nalaka undertook his ENT surgical training in Auckland, New Zealand following on with
two years of advanced Fellowship training at Southern Health and Monash Medical
Centre. He graduated as a Fellow of the Australian College of Surgeons in 2010 after
completing training in Head and Neck, Ear Surgery and General ENT. Nalaka has also
undertaken sinus surgical training and completed an advanced training course in
Adelaide. His specialist interests include ENT, sleep apnoea and sinus surgeries.
Nalaka de Silva is a firm believer in a holistic approach to managing sleep apnoea. He has been performing advanced sleep surgery for over six years and co founded CSSC in 2018. He is an active researcher. He has combined some of the best European techniques with the Australian techniques to establish Modified BRP, which has helped over 90% of his operated patients to avoid the need of a CPAP machine.
