Mr Vladimir Bolshinsky is an experienced, affable and highly skilled surgeon with advanced training in colorectal surgery, whose aim is to provide world-class care to patients on the Peninsula.

Mr Bolshinsky grew up in Melbourne and completed his medical degree at Monash University in 2006, followed by the Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy at The University of Melbourne in 2009. He undertook training in General Surgical in Victoria and was awarded a Fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2014.

Vladimir completed four additional years of subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery. He was employed by the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, Ohio (USA), as a Colorectal Fellow in 2017 and subsequently as a Colorectal Staff Surgeon between 2018 and 2019.

Vladimir is a strong proponent of lifelong learning and since commencing as a general surgeon on the Peninsula he has completed a Master of Surgery (University of Melbourne), published four book chapters, was a guest editor in the ''Clinics in Colon & Rectal Surgery'' journal, published multiple peer reviewed journal articles and is a member of the highly acclaimed Reviewer's Guild in the international journal - ''Diseases of the Colon & Rectum''. Vladimir is a member of several international surgical societies including; ASCRS, RACS, GESA, Cleveland Clinic Alumni and has been awarded several prizes.

Socially, 'Vlad' is a local member of the community. He is fortunate to have three beautiful young children and is very proud of his wife, who is also a General Surgeon.
