Mr. Adrian Pick

MBBS, FRACS

A graduate of University of Melbourne, Mr Pick received Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1983 and participated in undergraduate and post graduate training at Austin Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne.

 

In 1992 he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, General Surgery and after further training and experience received Fellowship, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Cardiothoracic Surgery in May 1995.

 

As post graduate Fellow, Mr Pick gained extensive experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester USA between June 1995 and July 1997. Experience included cardiac transplantation.

 

Further overseas experience at the Toronto General Hospital in Canada culminated in the award of Clinical Fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery in December 1997.

 

Mr Pick has contributed to many publications and is referee for Journal articles in very highly regarded professional journals. He performs both cardiac surgery procedures and thoracic procedures at Peninsula Private Hospital.
