Theo performs assessment, management and surgery of all general orthopaedic surgical conditions, with a particular interest and emphasis on disorders of the hip and knee.

Background:
A graduate of Monash University in Melbourne, Theo completed his orthopaedic surgical training in the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) Victorian and Tasmanian training program and was awarded his fellowship in 2011. Subsequently, Theo spent 18 months overseas, firstly undertaking a 12 month lower limb arthroplasty fellowship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, focusing on hip and knee replacement surgery, particularly knee replacement revision surgery. His time overseas incorporated multiple conferences, observerships and training courses, including 10 days volunteering in Erbil, Iraq and 3 weeks visitation with the Artro arthroplasty group in Annecy, France.

Theo welcomes referrals for all general orthopaedic conditions, with a particular interest in the following:

• Hip and knee replacement surgery, including revision surgery
• Knee arthroscopy
• Knee ligament reconstruction surgery
• Shoulder arthroscopy
• Rotator cuff pathology and repair
