BACKGROUND/TRAINING
Mr. Heath Liddell is a Urological Surgeon with an nterest in male and female incontinence, dysfunctional voiding, male lower urinary tract symptoms, female pelvic medicine and neuro-urology.
Mr Liddell has completed two fellowships in female and functional urology at The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital in Brisbane and at The Australian Prostate Centre in conjunction with The Royal Melbourne Hospital where he gained extensive experience in the management of;
- Urinary incontinence
- The neurogenic bladder
- Interstitial Cystitis/painful bladder syndrome
- Urodynamic assessments
Mr Liddell is also able to offer the following surgical techniques;
- Sacral neuromodulation
- Intravesical botulinum toxin
- Bladder augmentation
- Artificial urinary sphincter placement
- Mesh free solutions for stress urinary incontinence in women
- Sling placement for stress urinary incontinence in men
HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS
Mr Liddell holds appointments as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Peninsula Health and Eastern Health and performs functional urology services including urodynamic assessments to public patients at The Australian Prostate Centre.
He also holds an Honorary Fellow position at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Mr Liddell is the training supervisor for urology trainees at Peninsula Health and sits on the Victorian Regional Training Committee.
