Melbourne Pathology and Dorevitch Pathology also provide service for major pathology needs.

Physiotherapy

Delivers thorough assessments, diagnosis and appropriate evidence based interventions to a wide range of patients including those with surgical, medical and aged care conditions.

Pre Admission Clinic

At Peninsula Private all elective admission packages are reviewed by the pre-admission Nurse who will contact you by phone if any further pre-operative work is necessary. It is most important that you return the elective admission package to the hospital as soon as possible for a timely review. 

All patients having major hip and knee surgery are asked to contact the hospital on 97883645 or 97883699 to make an appointment for a group discussion with nurses, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist in preparation for surgery, and optimum recovery and discharge planning (refer to brochure from surgeons rooms).

All patients undergoing major bowel surgery, lung or extensive prostate surgery will need careful review by the pre-admission nurse either by phone or in person.
